Nicholas A. Frungillo named President of First Choice Bank

The Board of Directors of First Choice Bank announced today Nicholas A. Frungillo, Jr. has been appointed President, effective immediately. Formerly, Frungillo acted as the interim President.

Joining the company in 2006 as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Frungillo has more than 30 years of extensive experience in all financial and operational disciplines of banking including strategic planning. Prior to First Choice Bank, Frungillo was previously a director, executive vice president, chief operating officer and chief financial officer at The Town Bank in Westfield, N.J.

First Choice Bank promotes Lisa Tuccillo

The Board of Directors of First Choice Bank announced today that Lisa Tuccillo has been named Executive Vice President of Operations and Corporate Secretary of the bank effective immediately. Additionally, Ms. Tuccillo serves as the Bank Secrecy Act / Anti-Money Laundering Officer, Privacy Officer, and Security Officer.

Ms. Tuccillo joined First Choice Bank in the same year the bank was founded, 2007. She has more than 27 years of banking experience and began her career at Roma Bank in 1986. A life-long resident of Mercer County, Ms. Tuccillo currently resides in Hamilton Township, N.J. She is a proud graduate of Hamilton High School West and Mercer County Community College and is active in the community serving on committees supporting numerous charitable organizations.

First Choice Bank opens new branch in Kingston

 First Choice Bank officially cut the ribbon on the newest of its bank branches today in Kingston.  The location on Main Street opened this month and brings First Choice Bank to their first community outside of Mercer County. It joins the other five branches located in Mercer County (Hamilton, Robbinsville, Lawrenceville and East Windsor). The branch is a bit unconventional with an office like atmosphere and even a colonial home-like façade.

First Choice Bank Golf Classic donates $39,000 to local charities

First Choice Bank presented 3 local charities today with donations raised at their 3rd Annual Golf Classic in September.  The event held at Cherry Valley County Club in Skillman was held on September 10, 2012 and hosted over 200 golfers for a beautiful day on the links.  First Choice Bank organized the outing to benefit 3 local Mercer County non profits.  The Hamilton Area YMCA, Advancing Opportunities and The Parkinson Alliance all received $13,000 from the proceeds of the event.

First Choice Bank announces First Time Home Buyers Program

First Choice Bank has allocated $50,000 for a First Time Home Buyers program for their mortgage clients.  First time homebuyers buying in Mercer County who qualify under the NJHMFA (NJ Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency) guidelines will be eligible for the First Choice  Bank program as well.  First Choice Bank will offer 1% of the purchase price up to $3,000 for the buyer to use towards the down payment or closing costs. "This program gives us a chance to encourage residents in the current economic climate to buy in Mercer County." said Randy Hanks, President and CEO of First Choice Bank

FIRST CHOICE BANK MAKES DONATION TO SUPPORTING LOCAL YOUTH MENTORING PROGRAM
MERCERVILLE, NJ -
First Choice Bank and other organizations partnered together recently to raise money to support Rider University’s Minding Our Business Program. Recently a check for $10,000 was presented to Minding Our Business, a community outreach program of Rider University College of Business Administration.
The purpose of Minding Our Business is to advance the personal and vocational development of Trenton youth through entrepreneurship education and mentoring. Minding Our Business operates three programs: the Service Learning program (Summer) and the Advanced Program. Since 1997, MOB has trained and mentored more than 2,000 Trenton middle school students, ages 11-14, in starting and running their own businesses. The skills needed to run a business successfully are also important life skills.
“First Choice Bank was pleased to be able to partner with other local businesses to make this donation. This program helps develop our youth and give them the skills that they need as they become adults. This is an area that as a local business we are happy to be part of.
